TYPHOON YOLANDA (HAIYAN)

information on typhoon yolanda (haiyan)

Recorded as the strongest Typhoon in history, Typhoon Haiyan (or Yolanda), has wreaked havoc in the Central Islands of the Philippines.  The destruction is massive and help is needed.  As more news comes in with telecommunication and other infrastructures become available, it has become evident how the devastation can only be described as “total”.

As a Filipino, our hearts are broken each time we see photos and videos coming from home.   The first instinct for us, as the spirit of bayanihan lives within, is to help.  But how?

There are numerous organizations that had already been mobilised to try and solicit help.  PinoyStop had consolidated the links below for us to be updated for news and drives to alleviate the current situation.  You will also find links to organizations that are soliciting financial help.

We will try to add more links as it comes.  Please let us know if there are other organizations that are not listed here.
