TODAY IN PHILIPPINE HISTORY
A treaty of peace was signed between Governor-General Valdes Tamon and Sulu’s Sultan Alimud Din.
The Treaty contains:
- The preservation of permanent peace between the two states;
- The provision of alliance and mutual aid against any foreign foe;
- Free trade between the two states;
- Responsibility of each state for all infractions of the peace; and
